Bolton CDP as part of her Project Engage campaign, aimed at building the leadership capacity of members of the ethnic minority groups in Bolton and Greater Manchester. Organised a training session in partnership with the Community development and youth studies department of The University of Bolton on 23/08/2018. This training brought together representatives from ethnic minority groups in order to train them on the fundamentals of Community development and Community Engagement.
The participants after the session will work with their various communities as community engagement officers. They will help develop community projects that will be of benefit to the wider Bolton and Greater Manchester community.
Bolton CDP is grateful for to Kevin and Bren of The Univerisity Bolton for dedicating their time to hosting the training and also delivering the training session. Also, we are grateful for the various Community organisations that sent representatives.
