Bolton CDP Covid 19, Ethnic minority youth empowerment program.

In line with the mission of Bolton CDP, to build strong, sustainable, secure, prosperous and healthy communities, whilst focusing
on the Ethnic minority communities of Bolton and Greater Manchester.

During the Covid 19 lockdown, young people within the African community wanted to carry out activities that would help improve their skills in areas that they are passionate about. One of the identified areas was an online singing and mentorship training sessions. Which they believe would help them, build more self-confidence, self- esteem, self-discovery in singing and help improve their wellbeing during the lockdown.
Participants had a great time during these zoom sessions. We also carried out a face to face session on leadership training and some of the participants got certificates. Bolton CDP made sure that all social distancing measures were observed and also limited numbers of participants in the venue. We will like to thank Mrs Ndubuisi Udom for her  support to making these sessions successful.
